Microsoft Edge является безопасным веб-браузером и одной из основных частей ОС Windows, глубоко интегрированных в систему.
Microsoft Edge становится не только браузером по умолчанию, но и стандартным системным средством просмотра файлов PDF. Безусловно, Microsoft различными способами вынуждает пользователя пользоваться Microsoft Edge, но есть веские причины отказаться от решения в пользу Internet Explorer или браузеров сторонних разработчиков. Тем не менее, в системе нет возможности для блокировки браузера.
Edge Blocker является бесплатной портативной утилитой, которую можно запустить сразу после загрузки (предназначена только для Windows).
Интерфейс предельно прост. Вы можете только заблокировать или разблокировать браузер Edge, поэтому для работы с программой не требуются специальные знания. После блокировки браузера, он не будет загружаться, даже если Вы или другое приложение попытаются запустить его. Первоначально рекомендуется изменить браузер по умолчанию.
Если Вы используете учетную запись с правами администратора, ограничения выполняться на системном уровне, что повлияет на всех пользователей. В стандартных аккаунтах можно заблокировать Edge только в рамках учетной записи.
