Описание: Ungoogled Chromium - версия веб-браузера Chromium без интеграции сервисов Google, ориентированная на приватность. Включает улучшения для конфиденциальности, прозрачности и контроля онлайн-активности.
В Chromium большое количество фоновых служб подключаются к серверам Google несмотря на отсутствие привязанного аккаунта Google или собранных ключей Google API.
Более того, нормальный процесс работы Chromium подразумевает запуск собственных высокоприоритетных команд Google, которые инициализируют многие скрипты и утилиты, некоторые из которых используют предварительно созданные бинарные файлы от Google. Даже финальная сборка содержит некоторые предварительное подготовленные двоичные файлы. К счастью, исходный код можно редактировать.
Ungoogled Chromium - набор параметров конфигураций, патчей и кастомных скриптов, которые предназначены для:
отключения и удаления сервисов и функций, которые взаимодействуют с Google и нарушают конфиденциальность.
разделение двоичных файлов от дерева исходного кода и переключение на системные объекты.
добавление, редактирование и отключение функций, которые препятствуют контролю и прозрачности (незначительные изменения, которые практически не влияют на пользование программой).
В состав Ungoogled Chromium включены патчи от проектов Debian, Inox и Iridium Browser.
Включаем Режим Разработчика в меню: Дополнительные инструменты - Расширения. Расширение для установки расширений из магазина Гугл - https://github.com/NeverDecaf/chromium-web-store В адресной строке вводим: chrome://flags ,Вводим запрос "extension", Ищем опцию "Handling of extension MIME type requests", Выбираем значение “Always prompt for install.” Магазин расширений Google - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions
На всех платформах каталог пользовательских данных может быть переопределен путем передачи флага --user-data-dir командной строки двоичному файлу Chrome.
Открываем страницу https://searx.org Открываем настройки браузера Раздел Поисковая система - Управление поисковыми системами и поиском по сайту. Снизу видим добавленную поисковую систему searx.org и нажимаем Активировать.
Программа от разработчиков, не требует инсталляции. Запускается и работает с любого USB носителя. Раздаётся в виде авторских архивов по причине высокого сжатия, с контрольными суммами:
