Описание: SideFX Houdini FX - крупный программный продукт для создания трёхмёрных сцен и моделей. Данная программа является средой для визуального программирования, благодаря чему можно создавать восхитительную и уникальную трёхмерную графику. Разработка используется при создании игр, моделей объектов, рекламных роликов и прочего контента, в котором присутствует трёхмерная графика.
При желании, дополнительно установите Arnold или же Redshift.
(Однако будьте осторожны: Установить можно оба, однако Программа читает только один движок, вместе не запускаются. Запускайте либо с одним, либо другим движком, правя houdini.env (временно комментируя строки))

Удалить старые ключи по пути C:Windows/keys если имеются. Если устанавливаете первый раз, вы там скорее всего ничего не найдёте.
1) Установите Houdini 20.0.547, также обязательно установите License Server, которая идёт в комплекте во время установки.
2) После завершения установки заходим в License Administrator - File - License Tools Services..., останавливаем Sesinetd, окно не закрываем, позже пригодится.
3) Замените sesinetd.exe в папке C:\Program Files\Side Effects Software\License Server на sesinetd.exe из кряка.
4) Запустите службу Sesinetd в окне «License Administrator», перезапустите «License Administrator».
5) На вкладке «Server Information» найдите «Server Name» (в скобках) и «Server Code». Откройте кейген для Houdini 20 и введите их в одноимённые поля и сгенерируйте ключи. Ставьте 2099 год, при желании.
6) В «License Administrator» перейдите в «File - Import Licenses...», нажмите «Manual Install».
7) Введите ключи из окна кейгена, сначала SERVER ключ, а затем в любом порядке, при необходимости повторите процедуру ввода остальных ключей. Вводите первые 10, а далее по желанию, чтобы открыть все возможности.
8) Лечение завершено, если вводимые ключи все подошли. Houdini вылечен. Можно приступать к работе.
Если вы все сделали правильно, а ключи по-прежнему красные, то зайдите в License Administrator - File - License Tools Services... еще раз. Перезапустите Sesinetd, затем перезапустите License Administrator, и ключи должны быть подключены.
Чтобы предотвратить потерю ключей в будущих обновлениях Houdini, снимите флажок с параметра установки License Server. Если вы установили его случайно и все потерялось, попробуйте заменить sesinetd.exe еще раз, предварительно остановив службу Sesinetd и запустив ее после замены файла, должно помочь.
Также можно установить более старые версии Houdini, они должны работать с ключами 20 версии, главное не устанавливать License Server. Если вам нужна Карма в версиях Houdini ниже 20, вам необходимо установить ключ Karma Renderer, а если вам нужна Мантра в Houdini 20, вам понадобится ключ Generic Render.
